Maya remains alert to immigration and newcomer trends and understands and integrates the value of philanthropy and volunteerism to her work. She is also very in-tune with the needs and interests of newcomer youth and is sensitive to the particular concerns of people without official status in Canada. Her panel includes research, collection and organization of up-to-date settlement-related information for everyone.
